COULD THIS BE A TREND? FIRST-CLASS SERVICE IMPROVES TWO WEEKS IN A ROW
It’s nothing to write home about (the current Postal administration would suggest an email, anyway) but First-Class Mail service improved for a second week in a row, with 83.5% of First-Class letters being delivered on time. First-Class flats even joined the party, with 73.6% delivered on time. Better still, there were fewer First-Class letters more than five days late – just 4.2%. These are not great numbers, but it is an improvement.
Marketing Mail delivery remained steady, with more than 97% of both letters and flats delivered on time.
